Project Description
If your child is having academic difficulties, a child psychologist can perform a psychoeducational assessment, which may provide answers about how they might best be supported academically.
If your child is having academic difficulties, is frustrated at school, or does not seem to be reaching their potential, they may have underlying learning difficulties or they might be gifted. Using a standardized assessment battery, our team of registered psychologists can help identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and can provide recommendations for academic support. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can also be an effective form of treatment if your child or teen is struggling with executive functioning skills such as planning and organization.
We can help you find solutions for your child or teen’s:
- school anxiety
- school avoidance
- school refusal
